International Dance Day 2021
Delhi Public School, Durgapur celebrated International Dance Day on April 29th on virtual platform. This day is observed on the birthday of famous French artist ‘Jaen Georges Noverre’, widely accepted as father of modern ballet. His vision and creativity redefined the way dance is perceived today. Students from grades 2-10, who revelled in the universality of this art form, throughout the year, expressed themselves with a common language-Dance in the first recital. The next dance recital “Shiv-Vandana’ symbolized fivefold aspects of Divine control of the universe namely creation, preservation, Illusion and grace. Everyone appreciated the programme and prayed Him to bring peace and positivity in the world.
