Hindi Diwas Special Assembly
On the occasion of Hindi Diwas, students of Delhi Public School Durgapur, came together to celebrate the essence of Hindi language through a Special Assembly.
The day started with the prayer ‘Hum ko mann ki shakti dena’, followed by the pledge that was taken in Hindi. The thought of the day was interpreted in Hindi by ‘Anmol Vichaar’. All the important news of the day was read out in Hindi.
The Assembly concluded with a special enactment of the children on the theme : “Bharat ki Mahan Vibhutian: 1857 se Aaj”, wherein, the students presented the speeches, being decked up in various colourful characters, viz. Rani Laxmi Bai, Bhagat Singh and the pride of our nation: Chandrayaan.
On this day, the students pledged to give Hindi the recognition it deserves and reaffirmed their commitment to promote the importance of the language.
It was a great pride for the Dipsites to commemorate this significant day.
