Beautiful places are the perfect way to lose oneself’
An educational tour fosters independence, aesthetic skills and communication skills. The experience of travel makes the students strong individuals and helps them to establish lifelong values and memories.
Delhi Public School Durgapur had organised a four day excursion for the students, to Kanha Kisli National Park which has been the source of inspiration to Rudyard Kipling, for his one of the popular bed time stories- ‘The Jungle Book’ . This tiger reserve is one of the largest and most beautiful national parks of our country. The jungle safari took the students to an arena of the lush habitat of wild creatures like elephants, Royal Bengal Tigers, Indian leopards, the sloth bears, jackals, Indian wild dogs and barasingha- which is famously called ‘the jewel of Kanha.’ The trip to the deciduous forest with sal and bamboo trees, grassy meadows was a great learning experience for the Dipsites. The visit to Bhedaghat ,Dhuaudhar waterfalls were fun filled and a stress buster . The bonfire, and their stay at the resort in the tranquil forest added to the memories they made during their trip.
These trips to nature’s lap teach to respect and protect the rich flora and fauna of our country.
