Rakshabandhan Assembly
Raksha Bandhan was celebrated with full enthusiasm and gaiety at – Delhi Public School Durgapur on 11th August, 2022. The students of UKG and Class I participated wholeheartedly. The young Dip-sites tied rakhi to Principal Sir to thank him for his continuous support and guidance.They visited local Police station, Bidhannagar Police Phadi on this auspicious occasion to tie Rakhis on the wrists of the Police personnel. A gesture to thank them for protecting the society and to be with us during time of needs. They also tied rakhis on the wrists of school security guards and housekeeping staff as a token of thanks for their services. The tiny tots, in traditional attires enthusiastically performed gracefully on a skit based on the story of the Mughal king Humayun and Rani Karnavati. The vibrant, colourful attires and innocent smiles brightened the ambience of the day and lifted the spirit.
