World Music Day
“Where the words fail, Music speaks”
Delving into the depths of music, the students of DPS Durgapur celebrated World Music Day. Marking this year’s theme “Music on the intersections”, the song ‘Music Dil Mein’ was rendered with an added touch of Eastern and Western fusion. The longest day of the year was celebrated with music to bring solace to our souls.
Music is the language of harmony and has the power to bring people together. It is the expression of universal brotherhood and peace which can transcends boundaries, religion, gender and colour. To make music more relatable for the young generation Dipsites celebrated Music day on June 21st on the theme ‘Music on the Intersections’ Celebrating this universal feeling they presented the song ‘Music Dil Mein’ and added their own eastern and western composition. The programme was greatly enjoyed by the students.
