International Dance Day
To commemorate the birthday of Sir Jean Georges Noverre, the creator of the modern ballet, students of Delhi Public School Durgapur celebrated International Dance Day with great enthusiasm on April 29, 2022. This was a special moment for them as they got to perform it in offline mode. The event highlighted the amazing diversity and talent of dancers of the school and spread the message of universality of this art-form. Different dance forms like folk dance, classical and semi-classical dance along with Rabindra-nirtya were presented by the Dipsites. The vibrant presentation of the students rejuvenated the whole atmosphere. The performers received an overwhelming response by the audience which is a testimony to the joy the students felt in the offline performance after a long time.
