
76th Republic Day
Delhi Public School, Durgapur, celebrated the 76th Republic Day with immense pride and patriotism, reflecting the core values enshrined in the Indian Constitution. The day’s proceedings began with the ceremonial hoisting of the tricolour by the esteemed Chief Guests, Brigadier Saroj Kumar Patnaik and Colonel Uma Patnaik, followed by cultural performances that highlighted India’s rich heritage. The skit, “Justice Through the Ages,” along with soul-stirring songs and captivating dances, underscored the ideals of justice, equality, and unity.
As a gesture of compassion and social responsibility, the Social Service Club of DPS Durgapur distributed 30 bicycles, to underprivileged children, bringing smiles to young faces and reaffirming the school’s commitment to community welfare.
The Principal’s address and the Chief Guests’ inspiring speeches infused the gathering with patriotism and a renewed commitment to uphold democratic values. The celebration concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks, leaving an indelible mark of pride and inspiration on everyone present.
