Republic Day 2022
Delhi Public School, Durgapur celebrated the 73rd Republic Day with great enthusiasm and pride in the school premises. Patriotic fervour warmed up the cold winter morning as everyone present in the school premises gathered to hoist the National Flag, that was also telecasted live on the official Facebook page of the school.
In his inspiring speech , the Principal Sri Umesh Chand Jaiswal, welcomed all the parents, teachers and students for the programme and expressed pride in the rich cultural heritage of our country. He said that in spite of the diversity, we all possess strong love and respect for our motherland.
The welcome song kindled the spirit of patriotism. The programme featured a distinct performance by the Bulbuls, followed by skit, ‘SABKA SAATH, SABKA VIKAS’, recitation, which enforced the patriotic spirit within, and dance which was a showcase of co-ordination, hard work and excellence of musical presentation. The programme ended with the vote of thanks by the Teacher In- charge Mrs Shobha Thakur. Every one appreciated the programme and hoped for a healthy future and the betterment of the Nation.
