Delhi Public School also celebrated International Yoga Day highlighting the ancient wisdom behind this holistic discipline and emphasizing its relevance in today’s fast-paced world. The School joined hands with millions of people worldwide to mark this significant day and create awareness about the importance of incorporating yoga into daily lives. On June 21, under the guidance of experienced teachers and with the active participation of students from various grades, the celebration commenced with a fruitful yoga session. The session involved various yoga asanas (postures), breathing exercises, and meditation techniques that promote physical fitness, mental clarity, and emotional balance.
The school AVR provided the space to the fitness enthusiasts. The participants were led through a series of yoga sequences that helps to improve flexibility, strength, and overall well-being. The soothing ambience, coupled with the collective energy and dedication of the participants, created an atmosphere of tranquillity and rejuvenation.
