10th Annual Sports Day Pre-Primary
The Pre-Primary wing of Delhi Public School, Durgapur celebrated their 10thAnnual Sports Day on 6th January 2024 amidst great mirth, verve and camaraderie. The welcome speech was given by the Pre-Primary Coordinator of the school, Mrs. Tina Das. The eventful day started with an enlivening Welcome choir song by the students of class 1, followed by a spectacular drill presentation by the LKG students. The lush green field was suddenly filled with a wave of blue as the junior sharks marched in to the tune of the ‘Baby Shark’ song. The tiny tots of Nursery also came forward displaying their vibrant costumes. The students were all charming and it was a feast to watch them.
The little dynamites of UKG and Class 1 also captivated the audience with their dazzling drill. The spectacular dance by the Bulbul on the theme Mission Chandrayan was a tribute to the hands who made the mission successful. The parents cheered up their children as LKG, UKG and Class 1 ran to win the coveted medals in different races like Butterfly race, Frog race, Balance the Smile race etc. The winners were appreciated through medals and prizes. The event came to an end with the vote of thanks given by Jivika Todi and Gauravi Jain of Class I. The Annual Sports Meet was a true success in opening up the little minds and inculcating a healthy spirit of competition among them.
